The main Causes of Gynecomastia
Gynecomastia – the correct name for man boobs is becoming more and more prevalent these days. This is prompting more and more men to ask what causes Gynecomastia and how can I get rid of my man boobs.
Gaining weight – gaining weight is the number one cause of Gynecomastia today. Many men don’t exercise, preferring to sit on the couch. Also fast food and ready meals are much easier than cooking, making them too tempting for many. One of the places the fat collects is the chest area – causing man boobs.
Changing hormone levels – for whatever reason many men have too many female hormones in their body. Estrogen in particular will cause Gynecomastia. The issue here is that exercise alone will not get rid of your man boobs. The good news is you can regulate your hormone levels with food.
Reaching puberty – many male teenagers will have man boobs as their bodies mature. This can be socially discomforting for some young men but at the end of the day this cause of Gynecomastia is good because the problem will go away all by itself in time.
Aging – as we get older we accumulate more fat and lose muscle tone. If we don’t work out to keep the fat down and muscles in good order then this can cause Gynecomastia. What can you do about it? Take some gentle exercise and eat the right foods.
Drink and drugs – both illegal drugs and medicine can have side effects that can cause Gynecomastia. You shouldn’t be doing illegal drugs, so if you want to lose the man boobs lose the drugs. Drink also plays a part I’m afraid. My advice is to stop drinking to get your man boobs under control and then you can start again moderately.
Using Steroids – if you use steroids then I am afraid they could cause Gynecomastia. Steroids may make your muscles grow, but they may make your man boobs grow too. Best stick to natural body building methods and eat lots of good protein.
