Interested in how to prevent sweat from leaving you drenched? Excessive sweating is a condition that over 8 million other Americans have to deal with, it’s known formally as Hyperhidrosis and affects the underarms, hands, feet and face.

If youre tired of dealing with the constant embarrassment and discomfort, there are a few solutions you can try out, here are just a few of them:

1. Wear Cotton

One way to prevent sweat from getting out of hand is to ensure you wear only natural materials, cotton is one such material.

Stop wearing all clothes made of synthetic fibers or that are blends of fibers, these fabrics do not provide your skin enough room to breathe and thus result in you sweating more than usual. Only wear 100% cotton, make sure you look for this when you go out shopping for clothes again in the future.

2. Absorbent Sweat Pads

One other solution to this problem is to stop the sweat from reaching your shirt where it becomes noticeable by everyone else, and a great way to do that is with sweat pads. You can find these things online.

What the sweat pads do is basically adhere to the inside of your shirt under your arms and absorb any sweat that comes it’s way. This prevents the sweat from getting all over your clothes and making them dirty, smelly and well, noticeable by others.

3. Prescription Antiperspirants

Another way to attack your sweating problem is by trying out a prescription antiperspirant like Drysol. Drysol is something you can get from your doctor which has twice as much aluminum chloride in it which makes it twice as effective as store bought antiperspirants.

Drysol is quite powerful, so much so that it is intended to be used every other day. As time goes on you can even work down to 2-3 times a week.

All these solutions will help you to prevent sweat from driving you up the wall, they are not a true solution to the problem. If you’re intent on getting this under control, you need a solution that gets to the root of the issue.
