This is an often forgotten list of foods which gives you a list in ascending order of how quickly the foods will release the sugar into your bloodstream. You should become intimately familiar with the foods that are on this list and which part of the list they reside on. By eating foods which release sugar slowly into the bloodstream, we give our body the opportunity to do its job and get rid of the sugar instead of storing it as fat.
You need to understand that there is a little bit more to losing weight effectively than simply eating the right foods, but it is the best place for you to start. It is a proven fact that people who eat properly are more successful at maintaining a good body weight than those who do not eat properly but exercise. The first step in doing this is eating foods that are low glycemic, and that will cause the weight to begin to come off of you quickly and naturally.
